Peters' experience running a business and successfully contributing to the media industry stems from his experience partnering in two successful startups prior to MVP Pictureworks.

Mike Peters has been a passionate, award-winning Producer/Director/DP/Editor and Creative Director for over 30 years. His ability to tell a story visually through blocking, lighting, framing and directing has won his clients numerous awards. From long-format documentaries, to commercials, to corporate business videos, he not only thinks outside the box, he's not afraid to act outside of the box. Mike is very versatile; He is a DP, still photographer, editor, production manager and an account manager dealing with small and large budgets.
Imagine a person on your team that has done it all and continues to challenge the norm by bringing in innovative new techniques. Most importantly, he is able to determine if a line item cost in the budget outweighs the benefit or if the screen time warrants it. Mike is extremely comfortable around everyone, whether the President of the US or a fortune 500 CEO. He’s super-collaborative, easy-going and regularly incorporates outside ideas and thoughts into the mix.
When Mike isn't traveling the world capturing images for his diverse clients, he can be found with his family and Golden Retriever at his home in VA, or perhaps enjoying a round of golf with the guys. Lucky for us, his videography has better game than his golf! You'll never catch Mike without his outgoing sense of humor or without his creative gears grinding! Laugh at his jokes, and you two just might get along.
